Discovered in Japan, like most varieties of this species, by spontaneous bud mutation Satsuma Okitsu, originated around 1400, and is still the main species grown in Japan, where they reach high quality.
Is the earliest ripening mandarin cultivated in Europe, fruit of medium size, seeded, flattened, harvest from September when it is ripe internally, although its external coloring is even yellowish green, until early October when its juice it is very tasty and of orange color.
We sell the all naturally, as all our varieties, without degreening or perform any post-harvest treatment.

Ich habe eine Satsuma Owari bekommen(ivia 175), die bei uns in Deutschland gut wachsen sollte(mit ausreichend winterschutz). Der Baum kam unbeschadet an und sah entsprechend gut aus. Kann die nur empfehlen. Wenn es die ivia195 auch angeboten wird, werde ich die mir bei Gelegenheit auch bestellen.
